Design

We designed a user experience kit that could easily be posted. The artisans shared how important living in Bornholm was for their work. We decided to capture this in a way that could be shared no matter your location. The artisan puts together a package involving locally sourced clay, seeds from their favourite local plants, and a guided session. The kit is designed to give the user an immersive experience, sharing the feel, smell, and sounds of the Danish Island of Bornholm. The kit includes a compostable speaker made from bio-electronics.

Experience

The user turns on the speaker and crafts something out of the clay. In addition to the clay having the smell and feel of being in Bornholm the guided experience adds a third immersive dimension. Over time the piece will sprout plants from Bornholm creating a mini Bornholm in their home.
